Comics

I am not a cartoonist but I have joined some political cartoonists in their group shows. Of course, I could only make some cartoon-like pieces for those occasions. I first joined a cartoon exhibition in 2013. The show, Universal Suffrage Now!, was initiated by the Comic Daemons, a group of political cartoonists in support of fighting for democracy in Hong Kong. After that, the group had another exhibition, Draw the Line, hosted by the Hong Kong Foreign Correspondents’ Club. My exhibit prepared for the FCC show was later included in my new series “The World after 1989”.
Besides, I have created a cartoon character, Leftie, for a newspaper column written by Hark Yeung. It was the story of a left-hander. The series lasted for about two years. (I am not a left-hander myself; I only gave the cartoon a finishing touch with my left-hand when I did it.) – FS

漫畫

我本來不畫漫畫，但卻曾一再參與一些漫畫家的展覽項目。因漫畫非我所長，我只能提供幾件類似漫畫的圖件應付一下。我首次與漫畫家同場展出是2013年漫畫刁民 (一個由政治漫畫家發起的組合，配合其他香港民間團體爭取民主) 的群展，展題是「漫人迷普選」。翌年，漫畫刁民又再有群展，由香港外國記者會主辦，名為「劃清界綫」。這次我提供的圖件，其後收進了新系列「1989年後世事掠影」之内。
此外，我也曾創製過一個卡通人物，名為Leftie，是個左手小孩，用來配合黑楊的一個報章專欄。左手小孩憑藉那個專欄，持續了約兩年。（應該説明，我左手很笨拙，但畫左手小孩卻是用左手完稿，感覺是相當好玩。）– FS
